The HALO program is a substance use and harm reduction program out of the Wauwatosa Health Department. HALO stands for:

• Hope: we support hope for a better future
• Access: we ensure access to treatment and resources
• Learn: we provide substance use education and awareness to our community
• Open: open to all ages

The HALO program provides the following:

• Substance use resources for all ages
• Overdose prevention and education
• Harm reduction kits including Narcan and fentanyl test strips
• Medication lock boxes and disposal kits
• Support for family members and friends

You can pick up free harm reduction kits, including Narcan and fentanyl test strips at the Wauwatosa Health and Fire Departments.
