Memorial Day Observance
The Wauwatosa community is invited to attend the annual Memorial Day Observance on Monday, May 27th, beginning at 9:00am. This year's observance will be held at the future site of the Veterans Memorial in Hart Park, near the skateboard park.
The Memorial Day Observance is a time for us to come together as a community to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We are grateful for their service and sacrifice, and it is important that we take time to reflect and remember their contribution to our freedom. The observance will include a guest speaker, a presentation by the Mayor, and solemn remembrance. In addition, representatives from the Wauwatosa Veterans Memorial Committee will be on hand to create awareness of their memorial and raise funds.
The Wauwatosa Veterans Memorial Committee is a dedicated group of volunteers who are working to create a permanent memorial to honor and remember the veterans of our community. Their efforts are a testament to the deep respect and gratitude that we hold for those who have served our country.
We encourage everyone in the Wauwatosa community to attend this year's Memorial Day Observance and show their support for our veterans and their families. Let us come together to honor their memory and pay tribute to their sacrifice.
