No person, firm or corporation shall engage in the business of buying, selling, exchanging or dealing in used or secondhand automobiles without first obtaining a license for each location at which the business is to be conducted. This license is issued only to applicants who are in the business of selling new automobiles.

The license period is July 1 - June 30.  Renewal applications are sent in April to current license holders. (Municipal Code Chapter 6.72)
