Raised and educated in Milwaukee, I've been a Wauwatosa resident since 1988.

Occupation

A journalist for nearly 40 years, I started my career with the Wauwatosa News-Times and then spent 35 years at the Journal Sentinel as a reporter, editor, columnist and opinion writer.

Civic Involvement

I currently serve on:

• Community Affairs Committee
• Government Affairs Committee (Chair)
• Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee
• Library Board

Family

I have been married to my wife Eileen since 1986. We are the proud parents of five children who attended St. Jude's grade school. Our daughter Mary is a proud graduate of Wauwatosa East High School.
