Spring Bird Tour at the Forest Exploration Center

Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day in Wauwatosa on Sunday, May 12 from 7:30 am to 9 am. This year's theme is "Insects" and their importance to migratory birds. Carl Schwartz, editor of the Wisconsin Society for Ornithology's monthly newsletter, The Badger Birder, will lead this 1 mile hike to catch views of colorful spring warblers, Scarlet Tanagers, and Baltimore Orioles, along with many year-round residents.

This event is open to new and experienced birders. Bring binoculars if you have them. Please leave dogs at home for this birding experience. The event is free but is limited to 15 people and may fill up quickly. Register at https://fec.wildapricot.org/event-5660899.
