Distinguished Citizen Award Banquet

Arline Hayes is Wauwatosa's 2018 Distinguished Citizen of the Year. A Wauwatosa resident for over 50 years, Arline was a founding member and first co-chair of Tosa Fest and an active member of the Wauwatosa Historical Society. She was a founding member of Olde Hillcrest Neighborhood Association in 1994 and was on the board for over 20 years before serving on the executive committee of the Neighborhood Association Council (NAC). Arline was also one of the founding members of the Friends of Hoyt Park & Pool, which was responsible for the building of the TOSA Pool and The Landing Beer Garden. 

Please join other community members, family, and friends on Wednesday, April 24 at the Blue Mound Golf and Country Club for the official Wauwatosa 2018 Distinguished Citizen Award Banquet and Ceremony. The reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. (cash bar) and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. The Reservation deadline is Friday, April 12. Reservations are $50 per person. Reservations may be made in person at:  Wauwatosa City Clerk’s Office from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (checks only – no charge cards)
