Drug Take Back Day

Join us this Saturday, October 28, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for National Drug #TakeBackDay. We will be collecting expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs at the police department.

Unused or expired prescription medications are a public safety issue. Proper disposal of unneeded drugs saves lives and protects the environment and our overall community.

Individuals may dispose of solid, non-liquid medication (s) either in its original container or by removing medication from its container and placing it in a clear, sealable plastic bag. Liquid products, such as cough medicine, should remain sealed in their original container. We also accept pet medications.

Syringes and other sharp instruments will NOT be accepted.

Clean them out. Keep them safe. Take them back.
