Senior Ambassador Meeting

Neighbors of all ages are invited to the Senior Ambassador meeting from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 4 at Hart Park Senior Center, Parkview Room. At this meeting, the current Senior Ambassadors will discuss what’s working, what needs improvement and ideas for new senior activities. If you are attending to learn about the program, they will describe the program in further detail. They will also have resource materials and Senior Ambassador Binders. 
  
The Wauwatosa Senior Commission created the Senior Ambassador Program to connect older adults to their community: its people, its activities, its resources. Of Wauwatosa's 31 neighborhood Associations. The group's goal is to have one or more Senior Ambassadors in each of Wauwatosa's 31 neighborhood associations. Currently the program has 12 Senior Ambassador volunteers in 9 neighborhood associations. Senior Ambassadors, in their “safety” yellow polo shirts are at city-wide events, block parties, neighborhood events where they will distribute Senior Resource Folders.
