Friday, December 9, is a big night in the historic Village of Wauwatosa. The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train stops at the Harwood Avenue crossing, near the Little Red Store, at 4 p.m. There will be a free concert by Canadian musical stars Lindsey Ell and JoJo Mason from 4:15 to 4:45. Don't forget to bring nonperishable food items and cash to donate to the Tosa Cares food bank. Follow the event here. 

Then, at 5:15, come up to Root Common Park for the annual Village Tree Lighting ceremony. There will caroling by the McKinley School Choir, a kids scavenger hunt and appearances by Santa. Throughout the afternoon and evening, there will be a Holiday Trolley running through the Village and to/from parking at Hart Park. Get Santa's schedule and find out more here.
