POSTPONED Gypsy Swing & Latin Rhythm Concert

All are invited to enjoy the high-energy mix of gypsy swing and Latin rhythms by Milwaukee Hot Club on Sunday, March 22, at 4:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Wauwatosa Avenue United Methodist Church, 1529 Wauwatosa Ave. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start of the concert. Milwaukee Hot Club has been performing gypsy swing in the tradition of the late, great Belgian guitarist and composer Django Reinhardt for 10 years. Band members Guy Fiorentini, Scott Hlavenka, Aaron Gardner and Clay Schaub have been nominated for and awarded multiple Wisconsin Area Music Industry awards, performed with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and toured extensively across the continental United States and Europe. Upcoming programs include classical pianist Dr. Jeannie Yu on May 17 at 3 p.m. and a coffee house featuring Celtic-bluegrass-country acoustic duo Frogwater on June 14. The public is invited to all performances. Financial sponsorships and free-will offerings collected at each performance support the WAUMC Music Series.
