Sister Karlyn Cauley, SDS, is a renowned Folk Artist and member of the Sisters of the Divine Savior here in Milwaukee. She is well known throughout the United States as an expert and folk artist of “Shaker Gift Drawings”.  She will be here sharing the Gift Drawings made by Shaker women before the Civil War as well as inventions and products marketed from their original 11 Villages. Her extensive knowledge and expertise comes  from her many visits to the last surviving Shaker community in Sabbathyday Lake, Maine.
