Public Involvement Meeting: Zoo Interchange Work on I-41 Between Swan Blvd and Burleigh St

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is hosting a public involvement meeting on Tuesday, December 10, 5-7:30 pm about the remaining work on the Zoo Interchange project. This work includes the north leg of corridor I-41/US 45 from Swan Blvd to Burleigh St., specifically adding lanes to the freeway in each direction between Swan Blvd and Burleigh St., as well as rebuilding the interchanges with North Avenue and Burleigh St.

Final engineering will be completed in 2020. Off-freeway construction will begin in mid-2020 with freeway construction from 2021-2023.

About the public involvement meeting

The public involvement meeting (Tuesday, December 10, 5-7:30 pm) will be held at St. Joseph's Parish Center Building, second floor meeting room, 12130 W. Center St. It is an open house style event, so you can stop in when it is convenient. Parking is available in the west (upper) parking lot. Enter on the northeast side of the building. 

Those who require an interpreter may request one by contacting WisDOT at least three working days prior to the meeting via the Wisconsin Telecommunications Relay System (dial 711).
