Scenic WI Leadership Conference

Citizens for a Scenic Wisconsin is hosting a Scenic Wisconsin Leadership Conference from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, October 4, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Wauwatosa. Understand why scenic beauty is good for economic development, quality of life, recreation and tourism. Hear from experienced and respected speakers in business, government, tourism and the environment about how to take steps toward protecting and enhancing the visual environment in your community. Topics include establishing green spaces in cities, saving iconic historic barns by re-use, and reducing billboard clutter along highways.
