Tosa Farmers Market, 10th Anniversary Celebration

Join the Farmers Market in celebrating their 10th birthday on Saturday, September 28, from 8 a.m. to noon. In addition to their regular market offerings, they will have:
- Birthday cookies from The Naked Baker for the first 1,000 customers
- Celebratory beverages for purchase
- A toast to their founding mothers at 10 a.m.
- A small silent auction with awesome maker and foodie stuff to benefit the Tosa Farmers Market
- A kids farmer-themed obstacle course with tattoo prizes, organized by Legacy Gym MKE
Follow the Facebook event page.

The Tosa Farmers Market runs every Saturday, June 1 through October 12, 8 am to noon. It's located in the parking lot across from the Little Red Store, 7720 Harwood Ave. This year, they’re celebrating their 10th anniversary! The Power of Produce (PoP) program for kids aged 5 to 12 is back, and FoodShare recipients have the opportunity to use their SNAP/QUEST benefits at the Tosa Farmers Market — and they’ll double up to $10 in tokens each week. The first Saturday of each month, they have a Makers Market, featuring local artisans in addition to the weekly vendors.

Their Facebook page is the best place for up-to-date information on special events at the marketing, including cooking demonstrations, kids’ education events, yoga at the market and more! They’ll be celebrating all season long, but the festivities will culminate in a birthday celebration on Saturday, Sept. 28.
