Increase in Dog Bites
The City of Wauwatosa Health Department has seen an increased number of dog bites in the month of April. The weather is warming up and people and pets will be spending more time outdoors in the coming months. In an effort to prevent future dog bites, the Health Department has put together an Animal Regulations flyer that outlines the City’s rules for pet ownership. The Health Department would also like to remind residents not to pet or approach animals they do not know and to educate children on this topic as well.
