Delinquent Property Taxes

Delinquent Property Taxes

A three-payment installment plan is an option for taxpayers. The first installment is due in full on or before January 31. The other two payments are due March 31 and May 31. If all payments are not made by their respective due dates, the entire amount of taxes that remain unpaid is considered delinquent.

Delinquent taxes are subject to a state interest charge of 1% per month in addition to a penalty of 0.5% imposed by the city, retroactive to February 1, until paid.
