The Wauwatosa Police Reserve Unit is a volunteer organization whose members have been serving the Wauwatosa community since 1942. It is a non-profit group of citizen volunteers who serve the citizens, businesses, and visitors to Wauwatosa. The Wauwatosa Police Reserves (WPR) augment the police department in times of emergency and special events.
The community, City officials, and members of the WPR take this responsibility very seriously, as should anyone interested in joining.
When joining the WPR, you are joining an organization that is strongly supported by the Police Department. The department depends on the WPR to step-in and assist with various events and situations. Thus, all reserves must be fully trained and equipped to handle many situations.
In the WPR you will have an opportunity to make a difference in the community and work with one of the finest police reserve units in the state.
