The function of a Command Car is to serve as a command center on wheels when significant incidents occur.  It is a 2013 Chevy Suburban with extensive radio frequency capabilites, a computer for mapping and messaging (both front and rear), and a command center that slides out of the rear hatch.  When used as a command center the incident cammander has the option to sit inside or to stand at the rear of the vehicle without losing any capabilites.  The Command Car also carries a cache of portable radios.

Engine 51 was built in 2012 by the Pierce Manufacturing Company in Appleton, Wisconsin.  This was the first vehicle that was received with the new black over red color scheme that will one day be seen on all Wauwatosa Apparatus.  It comes equipped with a 1250 GPM pump, 750 gallon water tank and foam attack capability.  It carries 1000 feet of large diameter hose (for hydrant supply), 2 1/2 inch hose (for attacking large fires), and two preconnected 1 3/4 inch hose lines for quick attacks at smaller fires.  Engine 51 also contains the normal assortment of axes, tools, and fans, in addition to, an air cascade system for filling bottles at a structure fire.

Truck 51

Truck 51 was built in 2014 by the Pierce Manufacturing Company in Appleton, Wisconsin.  It comes equipped with a 1250 GPM pump, 500 gallon water tank and foam attack capability. The aerial is 105 feet long.  It carries 300 feet of large diameter hose (for hydrant supply), 2 1/2 inch hose (for attacking large fires), and two preconnected 1 3/4 inch hose lines for quick attacks at smaller fires.  Truck 51 also contains the normal assortment of axes, tools, and fans. A complete set of vehicle stabilization equipment is also carried on this Truck.

Med 51 was built in 2013 by the Horton Emergency Vehicles in Grove City, Ohio. The chassis is a medium duty International. This paramedic ambulance is equipped to treat and transport ALS patients to the hospital.  In addition, to emergency medical equipment this ambulance caries firefighting breathing apparatus and hand tools.
