We offer CPR classes to the public.
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, CPR, is a life-saving skill that anyone can learn. Studies show that cardiac arrest survival rates increase when CPR is started by bystanders. It is a goal of the Wauwatosa Fire Department to train our citizens in CPR.
We teach the American Heart Association’s “Heart Saver” curriculum. The class includes:
- Adult CPR
- Child CPR
- Infant CPR
- Automatic External Defibrillator(AED) Use
Classes are taught by Wauwatosa Firefighters. Get hands on practice on mannequins and use a training AED. Learn this important skill and you could help save a loved one’s life.
This 3 hour class is offered at Wauwatosa Fire Station #51.
The cost is $75. To enroll call Lori Murphy at 414-471-8490 or e-mail .
No classes are scheduled at this time.
Note: There must be a minimum of 6 people for each class or the class will be cancelled. There is a maximum of 12 people per class.
